Ayo Brame

Ayo Brame (AKA Ayo The Great) is a 15-year-old up and coming jazz musician from Oakland, California. He is his sophomore year at Oakland School of the Arts, and since the sixth grade has been an active member of the Oaktown Jazz Workshops under the tutelage of Richard Howell. Ayo is a self-proclaimed purist when it comes to Jazz; when he is not listening to the late & current greats, he is mastering his craft on the various instruments he plays. To date, he has picked up the clarinet, bass guitar, drums, the EWI, and the soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, and his favorite, the tenor saxophone.
