Fiesta de Independencia

Celebrate Latino Heritage Month with a taste of Latin America in Sonoma County! Enjoy authentic food, music, games, and activities for the entire family. Organized by LBC’s Latino Advisory Council, this free, family-friendly, campus-wide festival celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexico’s Independence.

Performances include incredible headline entertainment, LBC’s own student bands (Mariachi Cantares de mi Tierra and Mariachi Luna Naranja), Ballet Folklórico Ireri, and other local favorites. Children’s activities include carnival games, face painting, a jumpy house, piñatas, and more from local partnerships such as part participants Children’s Museum of Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Library.
