Since 1952, Hope Services has provided programs and services to people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Hope Services is the leading provider of services to more than 3,700 people and their families in nine counties (Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, Monterey, Alameda, San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Marin) and provides a broad spectrum of services for all ages, such as children’s services (ages 0-5); day services, including site-based and community-based programs; employment and job training; mental health services; senior services; and community living services. Hope Services is accredited by CARF International, the most prestigious accreditation agency in the disability sector. Hope also operates HopeTHRIFT, a thrift store with three locations supporting the organization’s services and providing job training and employment for its clients.
