Celebrate in style! We’re rolling out the red carpet and poppin’ the sparkling. What better way to open the Festival than with a bona fide legend described by Jazz Weekly as “the most lyrical piano player of our time”? That’s NEA Jazz Master Kenny Barron and his talented trio featuring Johnathan Blake on drums (a fellow Philadelphian) and bassist Kiyoshi Kitagawa. Adding an intoxicating jolt to the celebration is rising vocalist Tyreek McDole. It’s a joyous jazz party and concert for everyone and all ages.
