Oakland Running Festival
March 14 - March 19
The 2023 edition takes place on Sunday, March 19 with distances for every runner, including the Marathon (26.2 miles), Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon (13.1 miles), Heritage Bank of Commerce 10K (6.2 miles), The Total Dental Health Care 5K (3.1 miles) and the Eat. Learn. Play. Kids Fun Run.
People of all abilities will be running The Town, culminating with the Oakland Marathon on Sunday, March 19, as part of the Oakland Running Festival. You, too, can join in the foot races that have put Oakland on the running city destination map.
After a decade of growing the Oakland Running Festival into a community-wide celebration and must-do on a runner’s annual calendar, Corrigan Sports Enterprises has sold the property to Bay Area-based events company Run Local®. Run Local was founded by J.T. Service, a Bay Area native and 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier.
