Old Roots, New Leaves is a group, mixed-media exhibition curated by ten youth artists in MoAD’s first teen-led art exhibition. The artists reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and are deeply connected to many global cultures. From East Africa to Sierra Leone to Arkansas to the Dominican Republic, each artist uniquely honors their cultural legacies in both old and new environments.
