Student Poetry Reading

Join us for one of the culminating events of our 2023 Poets-in-Residence program. MoAD invites you to an evening of student poetry readings by the Spoken Arts class at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (SOTA).
Throughout the four-month residency, 2023 Poets-in-Residence Thea Matthews and Ashia Ajani have led poetry workshops with the Spoken Arts class at SOTA. This student reading will celebrate the original work created by the students throughout the residency. Join us for a delightful evening of poetry, as we celebrate the youth voices in our community!
