Chicago-born pianist began playing the piano at the age of 14, already winning various competitions including Best High School Jazz Soloist Award and the National YoungArts Competition. At the age of 18 years old, he was recognized and followed by many world renowned musicians including Yebba Smith, Robert Glasper, Cory Henry, Jacob Collier, Derrick Hodge, Travis Sayles, Mike Mitchell, Andre Sims, Isaiah Sharkey, among others. Jahari is featured on Derrick Hodge’s album and has toured/worked with Jill Scott, Keyon Harrold, Yebba Smith, Marquis Hill and many others.
