The program begins with Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis, a lively and imaginative reimagining of themes by Carl Maria von Weber. Lutosławski’s Symphony No. 3, a groundbreaking work of modern orchestral innovation, follows with its dazzling textures and dramatic power. The concert culminates with Strauss’s iconic Also sprach Zarathustra, a sweeping and philosophical tone poem made famous by its unforgettable opening. We hope to see you there!
