For James Beard Award-winning chef, educator, and author Bryant Terry, food is art. His palette not only includes genre-redefining vegan Black soul food recipes (see Vegan Soul Kitchen and Vegetable Kingdom, to name a few), but also public programming as chef-in-residence at the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) in San Francisco, and as publisher of the new Ten Speed Press imprint, 4 Color Books, amplifying diverse voices in the food world. Farming, health, visual art, culture, and the African Diaspora are all on the table when it comes to Terry’s passions.
