A fireside chat with NBA legend and social activist Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Enjoy an unforgettable evening with basketball legend, social justice champion, and New York Times bestselling author Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the release of his latest book, We All Want to Change the World: My Journey Through Social Justice Movements from the 1960s to Today.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a former NBA superstar and six-time league MVP, known for his unstoppable skyhook and status as the league’s all-time leading scorer. Off the court, he has been a prominent social activist, advocating for civil rights, social justice, and education reform throughout his life.
The evening’s conversation and Q&A will be moderated by Abdul-Jabbar’s business partner and manager of 31 years, Deborah Morales.
This special event brings together readers, changemakers, and fans for a powerful conversation at the intersection of storytelling, social justice, and personal legacy.
This is more than a book launch—it’s a moment to reflect, be inspired, and recommit to the change we all want to see.
