SUMMARY:EPIPHANIES Solo Show by Zara Kand
DESCRIPTION:Felix Kulpa Gallery presents EPIPHANIES\, a solo show by hi-desert artist Zara Kand. With traces of symbolism and surrealism woven throughout as a common thread\, this exhibition will feature a diverse variety of oil paintings\, as well as floating sculptures\, which reflect on the trials of the human spirit. Curated by Mary Tartaro\, EPIPHANIES brings personal introspection and rumination to the tangible surface\, allowing us to witness peculiar psychological and emotional transformations taking place among Kand’s figurative subjects. The exhibition will run from July 3rd – Aug 28th\, with an opening reception on July 3rd from 5-8pm. The artist will be present. \nFelix Kulpa Gallery\, located in Santa Cruz\, CA\, has been welcoming visitors into its unique space for over 20 yrs.
