Born and raised in the heart of Vallejo, California, a vibrant town north of Oakland and San Francisco, Brandt K. Jones, known in the rap world as B-Legit, has become a cornerstone of Gangsta Rap and Hip Hop. Vallejo’s rich cultural blend, thanks to its military town background and southern migrations, provided the perfect backdrop for B-Legit’s diverse, authentic sound. As the youngest of four siblings, B-Legit benefited from the wisdom and guidance of older brothers, equipping him with maturity and a deeper understanding of life’s complexities from an early age.
