Reggae legends Black Uhuru, plus DJ Sep

Reggae superstars Black Uhuru will perform at Sweetwater Music Hall for one night only, on Friday, September 6th. For over 50 years Black Uhuru has remained one of the most popular and recognized reggae bands from Jamaica. These “ambassadors of reggae” were the first band to win a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Eventually they collected eight more Grammy nominations. Run by founder member Derrick “Duckie” Simpson, Black Uhuru has the highest reggae record sales after Bob Marley, and the most songs sampled by other artists over the years.
