Berkeley Rep & MoAD Present The Get Down

September 20 @ 6:45 PM - 11:00 PM PDT

The Get Down

Get ready for the Get Down— a celebration of solidarity hosted by Berkeley Rep and the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD)!

Start the evening in style with a vibrant performance from Oakland-based country and Americana singer-songwriter Miko Marks, discover offerings from Black and Brown-owned businesses, and enjoy delicious light bites alongside tastings from Theopolis Vineyards in our Narsai M. David Courtyard—all before the 8pm showing of Mexodus, a hip-hop musical that narrates the lesser-known story of the Underground Railroad leading south into Mexico.

Keep the energy going and join us after the show at Michael’s Second Act Bar and get down with DJ Wonway Posibul. Doors open at 6:45pm. This event is free and open to everyone. Admission to the evening’s performance of Mexodus requires a ticket.

Use code BAYGETDOWN for 50% off your tickets for the performance on September 20! Can’t make it on September 20? Use code BAY30 for 30% off tickets for another performance!
