Bay Area Americana musicians celebrate the partnership and enduring influence of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. The lineup includes Jill Rogers and Myles Boisen of Crying Time, Loralee Christensen and Paul Olguin of the Loralee Combo, Candy Girard, David Phillips, Gary Vogensen, Kevin Russell, and Tim Gahagan of The Familiar Strangers.

Parsons blended country, rhythm and blues, soul, folk, and rock into what he called “Cosmic American Music,” working with the International Submarine Band, the Byrds, and the Flying Burrito Brothers. His collaboration with Harris helped reshape country rock before his early death, while Harris carried that influence forward as a singer, songwriter, bandleader, and central figure in Americana.
