BeHere / 1942: A New Lens on the Japanese American Incarceration

Japanese artist Masaki Fujihata combines historic photographs with augmented reality to examine the forced incarceration of Japanese Americans in 1942, with a focus on the Bay Area. The exhibition invites visitors to encounter archival images in new spatial and historical contexts.
