Billy Strings — October 2
Grammy Award-winning guitarist, singer and songwriter Billy Strings brings his boundary-pushing bluegrass to Oakland Arena on Oct. 2, opening a two-night engagement. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Strings combines high-velocity flat-picking and confessional songwriting with elements of country, folk rock, punk and psychedelia. His album Home won best bluegrass album at the 63rd Grammy Awards, and his electrifying live performances have helped make him one of contemporary bluegrass music’s leading artists.
