Black Creativity highlights the careers and contributions of Sargent Claude Johnson, Montford Cardwell, Mary Ellen Pleasant and Carlos Martinez. Presented by the San Francisco African American Historical and Cultural Society, the exhibition also includes African sculptures that illuminate connections across artistic traditions.
Location: 2nd Floor, San Francisco African American Historical and Cultural Society. On view through October 2026, Tuesday–Saturday, noon–4 p.m.
