In celebration of April—National Poetry Month—this special screening pays tribute to Sonia Sanchez, a groundbreaking poet, educator, and activist whose work has shaped generations.

The documentary BaddDDD SONIA SANCHEZ features a powerful intergenerational lineup of artists and cultural leaders, including Ruby Dee, Amiri Baraka, Haki Madhubuti, Nikki Giovanni, Talib Kweli, Ayana Mathis, jessica Care moore, Bryonn Bain, and Questlove. Together, they illuminate the depth of Sonia Sanchez’s influence on Black art, literature, and movements for justice.
