Black History Month: Crafting Creations (Life in 3D)

February 7

Black History Month: Crafting Creations (Life in 3D)

This week, we’re honoring two pioneers in holography in the 1980s – Kenneth J. Dunkley (inventor of 3D glasses) and Valerie Thomas (inventor of the illusion transmitter). Pick up a pack to make and test your own 3D glasses, and read about how both Thomas’ and Dunkley’s inventions have revolutionized the fields of science & technology. This craft is for ages 10+ and will be available in the Lafayette Library Teen Center starting after school on Wed. 2/7.
