Seattle-based singer, composer and keyboardist Brittany Davis brings songs blending jazz, R&B and funk to the Joe Henderson Lab.
Davis’ latest album, Black Thunder, is a largely improvised work of spiritual jazz shaped by African chants and rhythms, jazz harmony, soulful vocals and spoken word. Their earlier album Image Issues received coverage from NPR, KEXP, SPIN and Good Morning America.
