Cal Black Alumni Association is excited to host our 2nd Annual Cal Black Family Day event.

This year’s theme is “Welcome Black – We are Family, Then and Now”! We are excited to welcome our incoming 2024 scholars to this event. We are expecting alumni from all decades, faculty and staff, current and incoming students along with members of the Cal Black community.

Cal BAA will provide chicken, links, salad, baked beans, and other delicious items. We ask that you sign up to bring additional items such as water, sodas, watermelon, ice, cookies, and desserts, etc. Please sign up here. You may also access our sign-up link at www.bitly.com/calblackfamilyday2024. We will have some lawn games available. Please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, games, volleyballs, footballs. Also, there is a water park area for the kiddies. Our event is designed to amplify and uplift the entire Cal Black community.

There will be a variety of vendors selling merchandise and sharing information about their organizations and clubs.

This is an event for everyone, families, children, elders, and our youth. All forms of Blackness are celebrated, and there is no toleration of sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia.
