French Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi directs 17 dancers from around the world in Sol Invictus, a gravity-defying work about the sustaining power of community. A driving cinematic score by Mikael Karlsson and Maxime Bodson is interwoven with music by Steve Reich. Through its blend of physical risk and collective discipline, the work argues that connection and shared purpose can answer a fractured world.
