Eco Ensemble, UC Berkeley’s new-music ensemble in residence, presents contemporary chamber music with particular attention to timbre, sonic detail, and electroacoustic possibility. Led by faculty conductor David Milnes, the group is known for nuanced performances that make technically demanding scores feel lucid and alive.

The ensemble has recently interpreted music by figures including Kaija Saariaho and Toshio Hosokawa and regularly champions new and recent work by UC Berkeley faculty and alumni. The detailed program for this performance is forthcoming.
