Family Matinee w/ Destiny Muhammad feat. James Mahone

Harpist and bandleader Destiny Muhammad celebrates the musical spirits of John and Alice Coltrane in a family matinee marking the Coltrane centennial. Tenor saxophonist James Mahone and pianist Glen Pearson join Muhammad’s trio for this intergenerational tribute.
The ensemble also includes bassist Arthur “Chico” López and drummer Leon Joyce Jr. Together, the musicians bring harp, voice and tenor saxophone into a program grounded in the Coltranes’ enduring jazz legacy.
