Folsom Street Fair
Folsom Street Fair returns to San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood for its 42nd annual celebration of leather, kink, alternative sexuality and community. The fair stretches along Folsom Street and adjoining blocks, bringing together seven community stages with performers, DJs and live music, plus artists, artisans, exhibitors and community organizations. The event closes San Francisco’s Leather Pride season and is rooted in visibility, consent, connection and sexual liberation.
Visitors can explore creative work, meet community groups and find public-health and safety resources throughout the fairgrounds. The Playground provides a dedicated space for women, trans people and nonbinary attendees. This is an adults-only event; the official guidance asks guests not to bring anyone under 18 or pets. Gate volunteers request a donation, and contributors receive a fair sticker with discounts at participating bars. The fair is also smoke-free under San Francisco rules for permitted outdoor events.
