Jeremy Pelt Quintet
Trumpeter Jeremy Pelt leads a dynamic modern jazz quintet built around his bold tone, lyrical command and forward-looking compositions. Across more than 20 albums, Pelt has established himself as one of the leading voices of his generation while maintaining deep ties to the music’s history.
A five-time DownBeat and Jazz Journalists Association Rising Star honoree, Pelt has worked with the Mingus Big Band, Ravi Coltrane, Cedar Walton, Jimmy Heath, Nancy Wilson, Bobby “Blue” Bland and the Roy Hargrove Big Band. His quintet features vibraphonist Jalen Baker, guitarist Misha Mendelenko, bassist Leighton Harrell and drummer Jared Spears.
