Juneteenth Bike Ride

Come join Major Taylor Bay Area and Sports Basement for the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Bike Ride. With the holiday falling on a Wednesday this year, we’ll be doing an after-work ride complete with lights and music. Wear colorful clothes (no lycra necessary!), string lights on your bike, and bring a speaker and snacks because we’ll be having our own mini bike party to honor black joy and liberation.
We’ll be meeting at 5:30 at Sport Basement in Berkeley, riding south to stop at Lake Merritt, then riding back up again. Expect a total ride time of three hours including stops. We’ll have members of the MTBA family along on the ride to provide company and support for all.
