It’s time to build back our community and celebrate the beauty of our lives within the city of Oakland. When one community is making progress, we all will thrive and survive together. The Juneteenth Rooted in the Town, Celebration of Freedom Awards on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. at the fabulous and historic California Ballroom located at 1736 Franklin Street, Oakland, California. Celebration of Freedom Awards will be presented and awarded at the event and will be announced in May. Our theme Juneteenth Rooted in the Town, Celebration of Freedom Awards will be presented to outstanding members in our community raised and rooted in Oakland.
