For Inspirational Vibes, we are honoured to feature two extraordinary Bay Area musical powerhouses whose influence spans generations. Grammy-winning producer, composer, and keyboard virtuoso Carl Wheeler began arranging music and conducting interviews at just eleven years old on the Bay Area television program Just Kidding. As a founding member, keyboardist, and musical director of Tony Toni Toné, Carl co-wrote and helped shape iconic number one hits including “Feel Good,” “Whatever You Want,” and the Grammy-nominated classic “Anniversary.” With a career that includes touring 23 years with Frankie Beverly and Maze and collaborating with legends such as Prince, Alicia Keys, Bobby McFerrin, and Green Day, Carl is a master producer, engineer, choir director, and studio owner whose faith and Oakland roots remain central to his artistry.
