Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Christened “South Africa’s Cultural Ambassadors” by Nelson Mandela, Ladysmith Black Mambazo have showcased their impeccable harmonies and cultural heritage to the world for more than six decades by singing in the South African traditional music styles of isicathamiya and mbube, spreading messages of peace, love, and harmony.
The group became a worldwide phenomenon after their collaboration with Paul Simon on his seminal 1986 album Graceland. Their influential contributions have been formally recognized with multiple awards, including five Grammys.
