Composers Missy Mazzoli and Ellen Reid host LUNA LAB@10, celebrating a decade of Luna Composition Lab’s work mentoring female, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming composers ages 13 to 18. Founded by Mazzoli and Reid in 2016, the organization has helped reshape contemporary music by creating sustained pathways for young composers.

The anniversary initiative encompasses 75 world premieres by 50 alumni performed by ensembles around the world. This Berkeley program spotlights three of those premieres alongside music by Mazzoli and Reid, with performances by Dutt & Campbell Duo, Friction Quartet, and The Living Earth Show.
