Michael Echaniz Trio
Pianist and synthesizer player Michael Echaniz performs with Jeff Denson on electric bass and voice and Dillon Vado on drums.
Echaniz is a pianist, composer and educator whose original music combines rhythmic complexity, melodic depth, improvisation and influences from classical, world and pop music. His official biography documents studies at the California Jazz Conservatory and CalArts, the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Award, and the critically recognized album Seven Shades of Violet.
