Join us for an illuminating edition of MoAD Mix: A Spirited Discussion on Art & Culture, featuring Nigerian-American artist Mikael Owunna and his celebrated photographic series Infinite Essence.
Owunna’s work reimagines Black bodies as sites of cosmic brilliance—glowing with light, divinity, and ancestral power. Through multispectral photography, he transforms the Black figure into a celestial being, challenging narratives of violence and invisibility by revealing a universe within.
