J-MUSIC is BACK! After a 3-year indefinite hiatus, NY’s J-Pop Jazz Band returns for a one-time special residency at SF Black Cat as the “J-MUSIC Super Alliance” – featuring Patrick Bartley on sax, Mathis Picard on keys, Brad Miller on bass, and Dom Palombi on drums! After making waves in the 2010s as NYC’s first true jazz/J-Pop fusion band – as well as amassing over 16 million views on YouTube and millions of streams worldwide, the J-MUSIC Ensemble has been recognized as one of the most beloved and legendary bands in the VGM and Japanese music space, mixing its background in blazing jazz improvisation with the catchy and uplifting melodies of the Japanese music world.
