Rhythmallogy (Kids’ Show)

Created and led by percussionist Aaron Kierbel, RhythmALLogy is an innovative interactive children’s program that involves movement, body percussion and group drumming. These sessions are specially designed to nurture and unleash the rhythmic potential in kids ages 10 and under. Kierbel has played in 30 countries around the world with the genre-defying Bay Area group Rupa and the April Fishes. He’s also performed around the region with the San Francisco Mime Troupe, The Jazz Mafia, La Misa Negra, Meklit Hadero and many others. RhythmALLogy draws on his gift for coaxing kids to explore and share their rhythmic spirit. Warning: participants may experience irrepressible eruptions of dancing and laughter, a peculiar sensation of being connected to others and temporary relief from self-judgment.
