Learn all about ocean creatures via… Cake! KQED’s Check, Please! producer Cecilia Phillips is hosting a cake bake-off, where marine biology will serve as our visual prompt. Each cake will be inspired by the marine life featured in California Academy of Sciences’ aquariums. Enter the competition as a beginner, intermediate or advanced baker or come be in the audience to learn about who is living in our beautiful waters and eat delicious cake!
