Smuin Contemporary Ballet: French Kiss
Smuin Contemporary Ballet opens its 2026–27 season at the Lesher Center with French Kiss, a contemporary dance program featuring Michael Smuin’s Stabat Mater, a world premiere by My’Kal Stromile and Amy Seiwert’s French Kiss.
Stromile makes his West Coast debut following a commission with the Paris Opera Ballet. Seiwert’s colorful work returns to the stage, while the revival of Stabat Mater honors Michael Smuin’s lasting influence. Performances are Friday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m.
