Spring Break Book Series Workshop for SF Middle School Youth
April 8 - April 12
Spring Break Book Series Workshop is a week-long workshop from April 8 to April 12, 2024 from 9-12pm. We are looking for SF Middle School Youth who would like the opportunity to work with a Black Children’s Book Author, Jesse Byrd to create a story, design, and illustrate a book as a class. Once the students have added all of their creativity into the story, it is then sent to professional authors, illustrators and editors to round it out. When that is complete, the book will then be published and printed. Participating students will receive a free copy with their name on it, and the books will then be sold online at stores like Barnes & Noble! This is a limited series and we are only accepting 20 youth from our Interest Form, so complete it now!
