The Last Waltz – Co-Presented with the JCCSF
SFFILM and the JCCSF celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Band’s farewell concert with a 4K screening of Martin Scorsese’s landmark music documentary The Last Waltz.
The evening opens with a conversation moderated by Ben Fong-Torres featuring cinematographer Hiro Narita, journalist Joel Selvin and executive producer Jonathan Taplin, who will share firsthand memories of the 1976 Winterland concert. The newly renovated Kanbar Hall presentation features 4K projection and Dolby Atmos sound.
