The Moth StorySLAM: WILDERNESS
The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition where anyone may put their name in the hat to tell a true, personal story in five minutes. Storytellers speak live and without notes, while the audience gets an unpredictable evening that can move from hilarious to heartbreaking in the space of a single tale.
For WILDERNESS, stories venture into the outdoors and the untamed: mountain paths, city parks, backyard discoveries, wrong turns, close encounters and moments when nature changed the plan. Tell about finding your footing—or losing it—beyond the familiar. Whether you arrive ready to take the stage or simply to listen, the theme leaves plenty of room for surprise.
