Celebrated bassist Victor Little brings Inner Portrait to Black Cat—an evening featuring music from his acclaimed debut album, recent original singles, and heartfelt tributes to some of his biggest inspirations, from Miles Davis to Stevie Wonder. Expect a rich blend of jazz, funk, fusion, R&B, and soul, driven by masterful musicianship and infectious groove.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Little has performed alongside Booker T. Jones, Patti Austin, Bernard Purdie, Robert Walter, Joyce Cooling, Brian Simpson, Steve Cole, and many more. His debut album Inner Portrait features Dennis Chambers, Ruslan Sirota, and Thomas Pridgen, while his recent releases continue to showcase his signature blend of tradition, innovation, and unmistakable bass-driven sound.
