The Curtis Family C-Notes
The Curtis Family C-Notes bring a family-powered blend of funk, soul and R&B with jazz and gospel harmonies. Seen on Season 16 of America’s Got Talent, the multi-instrumentalist ensemble includes Papa C, Mama C and their five children: Zahara, Nile, Isis, Kiki and Phoenix.
The San Francisco family has performed at Yoshi’s, the Blue Note, the Fox Theater and Concord Pavilion and shared stages with artists including Jon Batiste, El DeBarge and Lenny Williams. Through the nonprofit Passing the Torch, the family also uses music to connect young people, seniors and marginalized communities.
Performances: Friday, October 2 at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
