Kedrick Armstrong conducts Oakland Symphony and the Oakland Symphony Chorus in a program that refracts history through music—“to the very brink and back again.” Violinist Nathan Amaral is the featured soloist.
The program includes Haydn’s Te Deum, John Adams’s Frenzy: a short symphony, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Violin Concerto, and Ravel’s La Valse.
