Shen’s Wondering
Shen’s Wondering is a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary visual artist, animator and educator Tangying (Jane) Shen. Opening September 10 at artX Gallery in Fremont, it brings together new work about identity, resilience, self-discovery and women’s experiences.
The title also reads as “She’s Wondering.” Through painting, ceramics and interdisciplinary media, Shen examines how family, culture and social expectations shape women before uncertainty, conflict and growth lead toward a more authentic self. The submission says the exhibition runs through the fall, but no closing date is provided.
