Divine Creatures traces the adventurous legacy of Ballets Russes impresario Sergei Diaghilev through three works built on collaboration, reinvention and risk. The program opens with a world premiere by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, set to music by Andy Akiho, before Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s Faun refracts myth and Nijinsky’s revolutionary sensuality through a contemporary lens.

Yuri Possokhov’s Violin Concerto, a hit of San Francisco Ballet’s next@90 Festival, returns with its technical brilliance and Igor Stravinsky’s virtuosic score. Together, the three works place bold choreographic languages side by side while celebrating innovation across dance, music, design and theater.
