Bassist Richie Goods and vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu bring their award-winning collaborative project Connected to SFJAZZ with a superlative band.
Created amid the isolation and political upheaval of 2020, the album explores the restorative power of human contact across language, race and culture. Goods and Taiwan-reared Lu developed the music through sustained conversation, composition and performance, earning Best Instrumental Album at Taiwan’s Golden Melody Awards.
