129th Annual Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival
The 129th Annual Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival celebrates Sonoma Valley’s harvest heritage with four days of wine, food, music and community traditions. The 2026 theme, “Year of Community,” recognizes the role that shared meals and local wine play in bringing people together. Festival experiences include an outdoor harvest dinner, vineyard programming, a 5K and one-mile run, the historic grape stomp, the Blessing of the Grapes and a reenactment of Sonoma’s “Double Wedding of the Century.”
The free daytime celebration on Sonoma Plaza adds live music, an artisan fair, local food, children’s activities, a vintage car show, Sonoma Valley wine and craft beer. Ticketed experiences include the Wine Garden, Harvest Dinner, Grand Tasting with more than 50 wineries and a closing brunch. Proceeds support local nonprofits, students and community initiatives through grants, scholarships and charitable programs.
