October 17
Free
Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the Hayward Area Historical Society’s Family Fun Saturday. The museum’s annual Day of the Dead exhibition remains on view throughout October, with local artists’ work offering families a way to explore the origins of the celebration.
Continue the visit in the classroom, where families can create their own art through Día de los Muertos-themed crafts. The organizer lists this museum program as free and family friendly.
